You can read his comments below: Last year my university allowed some of the students from drama class to visit some of the theatres around the UK. I study at the University of Aberdeen and am a final year student of Drama. Our university launched a programme for the students who have shown some promising prospects. Among those people, I was lucky enough to be selected myself. We were to travel through different parts of England and Wales and have an authentic and informative experience. Naturally, as we began on this adventure of journeys we experienced and learnt so many different and new things as well that we had not learnt before. A part of our trip was to visit the Rose theatre,Kingston.

Our professor from the drama department was the head of the trip. His name is Mr Jennings and he is a very nice person. We loved this trip under his leadership and he was behaving as if he was our friend or a classmate. Our professor joked around and laughed with us. He has a very brilliant sense of humour. We were travelling through different mediums; planes, trains, cabs, and sometimes we even hiked for miles and miles to reach a certain place. But we loved it because it was part of a learning experience. It gave us a sense of a community and a team. It taught us how to calm and control our nerves under any pressure. After travelling through different cities and towns and being in different theatres, an integral part of our trip, We reached the Stansted Airport. There we had to go to Rose Theatre, Kingston. We booked a cab after searching online, we found a cab with good reviews on it. We booked a cab from company.

The driver came in time and we were waiting at the lounge of the airport. The cab was booked from Stansted Airport to Rose Theatre, Kingston. The driver was well dressed and greeted us with manners. He took our bags and put them in the trunk of the cab. We all got into the cab and were ready to leave. We were four students travelling with our professor, in charge of the group. We were all chatting and sharing laughs over stories that had happened to us over the course of our journey. After a drive of nearly two hours, we were at the Rose Theatre, Kingston. We all got out of the cab, and the driver took out our bags from the boot and handed us over them.

It was dark outside and there was going to be a play performed there that night. It was a personal favourite of mine by Christopher Marlow called “Doctor Faustus''. I was now more excited that we would be able to see this absolute masterpiece of Marlowe’s. The play was performed and crafted exquisitely. After the play had ended we gave a standing ovation for such a marvellous production of the play. The whole evening was an unforgettable experience of my life so far.
